YIN “Sky View”

As long as the weather is dry, there will be YIN yoga with restorative aspects outdoors on the roof terrace on five Thursdays from September 7th to October 12th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The focus of this type of yoga is on discovering your own body and intensely feeling yourself in the here and now. It can be a little cooler and it can also be cloudy! The contracting, cool, soft, feminine that prepares us for the seasons of the second half of the year are characteristics of YIN. (Note: Yang qualities are, for example, heat, expanding, powerful, masculine.) The slow, passive stretching exercises are held for three to ten minutes. We give ourselves over to slowing down and letting go, promoting inner peace, stability and serenity. The nervous system has the opportunity to shut down completely. Accompanied by soft sounds, we look inwards and connect ourselves with our sky in a mirror image.

To make us feel comfortable and relaxed in this style of yoga, comfortable clothing and blankets help to keep us from getting cold. Please bring everything you need with you, including a yoga block and your yoga mat if you have them. (If you don't have a yoga mat or block, you can borrow one from me after informing me in advance.)
